Mark Amtower is a consultant, speaker, business best-selling author, columnist and radio/podcast host.

 

Since 1985, he has advised small, medium and large companies on all facets of marketing to the government. He specializes in helping companies develop thought leadership positions in a defined niche in the Federal market, leveraging LinkedIn and strong content to gain targeted visibility. His expertise in both marketing to the government and LinkedIn makes him a sought after consultant, keynote, luncheon and workshop speaker.

 

His weekly radio show/podcast, Amtower Off Center, has been on the Federal News Network for 19 years and his monthly column has been in Washington Technology since 2008. He also publishes frequently on his LinkedIn profile page. His books, Government Marketing Best Practices (2005), Selling to the Government (2011), How to Win in the Government Market (co-authored with Mike Lisagor, 2022) and Government Marketing Best Practices 2.0 (with several co-authors, 2022) are industry standards.

 

He was selected by BtoB magazine as one of the Top 100 Business Marketers in the United States 2008 and his LinkedIn profile was selected as one of the seven best (out of 50 million) in the 2009 contest, Rock the World with Your Online Presence. In 2018, he was awarded the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Government Marketing from Government Marketing University. In 2021, he was one of the six inducted into the GovSales Hall of Fame.
