In 1994 Ted Rose founded Rose Financial Solutions (ROSE), the Premier U.S. Based Finance and Accounting Outsourcing Firm. In 2010, the Blackbook of Outsourcing named ROSE the #1 FAO firm in the world based on client satisfaction. As the president and CEO of ROSE, he provides executives with financial clarity. Ted has also acted as the CFO for a number of growth companies and assisted with various rounds of financing and M&A transactions.

Prior to founding ROSE, he was the Corporate Controller of a publicly traded biotech firm and served on the senior staff at Price Waterhouse.

Ted is very active in the DC metro area business community. He is a past Chair of the Montgomery County Workforce Development Board and WorkSource Montgomery and served on the executive committee for six years.  He is a past president of the Entrepreneurs Organization-DC Chapter and has served on EO Global’s Standing Finance Committee for three years.

Ted graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Accounting and a M.B.A in Finance and International Business. He serves on the Accounting and Information Assurance Board for the Robert H. Smith School and participates as a guest lecturer for the business school.

Ted is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Entrepreneurs’ Organization, AICPA, and MACPA. Additionally, the MACPA community & SMARTCEO voted him as one of The Best CPA’s in the DC Metro area seven times. Accounting Today named Ted to their list of Elite Managing Partners in 2017.

Tim Fargo is a CPA with over 25 years of accounting and business management experience. He has 9 years of direct non-profit experience in the design and construction industry. Tim’s expertise includes the management of staff, strategic planning, budget preparation, financial statement presentation, and audit and tax preparation work.

Tim joined ROSE in 2006 and became a partner in 2007. Prior to joining ROSE, he was the Senior Vice President of Business Processes and Chief Financial Officer of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA). Tim led the finance and administrative offices at DBIA for over six years. Prior to DBIA, he was the Controller at the Associated General Contractors of America where he managed the accounting department for a period of three years.

Tim graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Accounting. He is a member of AICPA and MACPA.

Wallace “Wally” Angel is a strategic CPA with more than 20 years of experience in the government contracting and consulting environments with companies ranging from start-ups to $800M. His government contracting expertise includes FAR and DCAA compliance, indirect rate calculation, forward pricing, proposal writing, pricing, and cradle to grave contracts management and system design and implementation. In his position as Partner, Financial Operations, Wally serves as a trusted advisor to the C-suite in controllership and cash management, revenue recognition, system design and implementation, and full financial planning and analysis.

Prior to joining ROSE, Wally was the Corporate Controller at an Alaskan Native Corporation with multiple operating entities comprising both government and commercial operations in numerous industries. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from George Mason University, where he graduated with honors, and is a Certified Public Accountant who passed the exam in the state of Maryland on the first sitting. He also completed his Costpoint Master Certification exam administered by Deltek.

Kimberly A. Kuchman has more than 20 years of years of experience in operational improvement, financial services and consulting and a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives that resulted in significant value-add. She has expertise in analyzing workflow challenges, developing and simplifying procedures, and finding innovative solutions to logistics issues. As Partner, Functions Division, Kimberly leads ROSE’s accounting functional teams within its shared service center based in Rockville, MD.

Prior to joining ROSE in 2012, she was the Principal at K Squared Solutions where she consulted closely held businesses and non-profit organizations on tactical and strategic planning projects in financial services and general management.

Kimberly holds three degrees from American University’s Kogod School of Business including a B.S. in Business Administration specializing in International Economics/Economic Policy, an M.B.A. in Accounting and an M.S. in Taxation.

As Director of Operations, Liz partners with ROSE leadership to identify, analyze, and operationalize business objectives and to optimize the customer lifecycle and sales process. With the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, she is also responsible for organization-wide revenue growth strategies and creating processes to encourage collaboration between the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to meet company goals.

Liz rejoined ROSE in 2020 after serving as Business Development and Marketing Manager from 2021-15. In that position, Liz was responsible for developing marketing strategies and tactical plans to drive business growth and increase brand awareness. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration for the University of Delaware – Lerner College of Business and Economics.

Jennifer has 15+ years of experience as a Senior QA Test Engineer with full life cycle expertise including requirement analysis, test planning, manual testing, and automation and test reporting on a wide variety of projects and environments for web-based applications. Her senior-level QA/Testing background includes performance, functional, regression, user acceptance, integration, security, and related test methodologies for both mission-critical and non-mission critical systems.

Jennifer joined ROSE in 2020 as a QA/QC Manager and was promoted to Senior Manager of Engineering in 2021. Prior to joining ROSE, she was a QE Project Manager for Cvent. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern University and A&M

Minhal has more than 15 years of experience in the finance and accounting industry in management and analysis roles. He has expertise in the preparation of financial statements including analysis, budget, and cash flow as well as providing audit support to clients. As Client Controller, he mentors and manages a finance and accounting team responsible for month-end and year-end closes, financial statement closes, and daily accounting functions for clients in a wide variety of industries.

Minhal joined ROSE in 2018 as an assistant controller and was promoted to client controller in 2019. Along with pursuing the CPA designation, Minhal holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Stratford University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Brock University.

As Senior Manager, Procure to Pay, Jason Sorghardt is responsible for overseeing ROSE’s P2P department functions and implementing continuous system improvement initiatives. He has expertise in full cycle accounting and a strong background in management, closing, payroll, and billing as well as experience in DCAA compliant accounting for government contractors and accounting for commercial companies. Jason is skilled a in a wide range of accounting software and applications, including QuickBooks, Unanet, Netsuite, Bill.com, eFAACT, Deltek T&E, ADP, Paychex, and iSolved.

As Manager, Tax, Tola oversees the delivery of ROSE’s full range of tax services to ensure clients maintain compliance with local and federal tax laws and regulations. She has 15+ years of experience working in the area of tax consulting and compliance for corporations and individuals and expertise in developing tax strategies to mitigate tax risks. 

In her position, Tola also trains new tax hires, mentors team coordinators, and ensures client deliverables are met. She rejoined ROSE in 2021 after serving as Manager, Tax from 2017-20, and holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree from Strayer University.

As Client Growth Consultant, Frank leads ROSE’s business development team and is responsible for managing the sales process and building the funnel for future customer acquisition. As part of the sales process, he performs an assessment of a company’s needs and goals and then configures recommended solutions to meet those objectives. Additionally, Frank provides current clients with guidance on solution upgrades that will contribute to their long-lasting success.

Prior to joining ROSE, Franks was a Client Services Manager at Raymond James Financial, Inc. where he specialized in B2B retirement planning and financial services for local companies. Frank earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Maryland College Park.
