Ted Rose, MBA, CPA, President, CEO and Founder
Ted Rose founded Rose Financial Services (RFS), the premier U.S. based accounting and financial outsourcing firm, in 1994. As the president and CEO, he strives to provide executives with financial clarity. Mr. Rose has also acted as the CFO for a number of growth companies and assisted with various rounds of financing and M&A transactions.
Prior to founding RFS, he was the Corporate Controller of a publicly traded biotech firm and served on the senior staff at Price Waterhouse.
Mr. Rose is very active in the DC metro area business community. He serves on the Workforce Investment Board executive committee for Montgomery County and is the past president of the Entrepreneurs Organization-DC Chapter. A Bachelor’s and MBA graduate of the University of Maryland, Mr. Rose serves on the Board of Directors of the Robert H. Smith School of Business Alumni Chapter and the Accounting and Information Assurance Board. He also participates as a guest lecturer for the business school.
Mr. Rose is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Entrepreneurs Organization, AICPA, MACPA, the NVTC, the Tech Council of Maryland and the Board of Trade. Additionally, the MACPA community & SMARTCEO voted him as one of The Best CPA’s in the DC Metro area in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008.
Timothy J. Fargo, CPA, Member and Team Leader
Tim Fargo is a CPA with over 20 years of accounting and business management experience. He has 9 years of direct non-profit experience in the design and construction industry. Mr. Fargo’s expertise includes management of staff, strategic planning, budget preparation, financial statement presentation, and audit and tax preparation work.
Mr. Fargo joined RFS in 2006 and is a Member and Team Leader. Prior to joining RFS, he was the Senior Vice President of Business Processes and Chief Financial Officer of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA). Mr. Fargo led the finance and administrative offices at DBIA for over six years. Prior to DBIA, he was the Controller at the Associated General Contractors of America where he managed the accounting department for a period of three years.
Mr. Fargo graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. He is a member of AICPA, MACPA, FEI and is involved with the Tech Council of Maryland.
Jeanne M. McMillen, CPA, Member and Team Leader
Jeanne McMillen is a CPA with over 25 years of corporate accounting experience. Her background includes major involvement in the government contracting area as well as serving as a key advisor in corporate strategy, strategic ventures, business plans, and product development.
Prior to joining RFS in 2004, Ms. McMillen was the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hy-Tech Fittings and Components where she directed all financial, accounting and administrative activities. She also served as the Controller, Eastern Division for Dames & Moore, Inc., a publicly held international engineering company.
Ms. McMillen graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting. She is involved with the Tech Council of Maryland.
Lauri Rodich, Member and Director of Business Development
Lauri Rodich has an MBA from Pepperdine University and received her undergraduate degree from California State University at Northridge. Ms. Rodich joined RFS in 2002 and serves as its Director of Business Development. She began her career at ARA Services Magazine and Book Division before moving to Universal Studios’ Licensing Division in their contract administration department.
Ms. Rodich is a very involved in the business community and has held leadership positions in a number of organizations. She ran for the Montgomery County Public School Board in 2000. Ms. Rodich currently serves on the International Committee for the Maryland Tech Council as well as Northern Virginia Tech Council.
Ketan Dave, CPA, Team Leader
Ketan Dave, CPA, joined RFS in 2007 as a Team Leader. His expertise includes setting up finance and accounting departments, defining procedures, creating reporting structures, and measuring progress against benchmarks. Prior to joining RFS, Mr. Dave served as controller of PortaKamp International, a $60M government contractor that manufactures modular camps. His experience also includes 6 years as Controller with Scaps Industries, where during his tenure the company grew from $10M to $60M.
Mr. Dave has a Masters in Accounting from Gujarad University in India.
James P. Geraghty, MBA, CPA, Team Leader
James Geraghty, CPA, MBA, joined RFS in 2008 and has ten years of industry experience including financial reporting, budgeting, auditing and internal control monitoring. Prior to RFS, Mr. Geraghty was the Controller of The George Washington University Hospital. He led the hospital’s accounting department for six years, managing a team of ten and reporting monthly financial performance to corporate regional managers. Before joining The George Washington University Hospital, Mr. Geraghty served for three years in the assurance and business advisory services division of Arthur Andersen. His clients included two publicly traded corporations as well as various non-profit healthcare organizations.
Mr. Geraghty earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Mount Saint Mary’s University and a MBA with a concentration in finance and investments from The George Washington University. He is a member of the AICPA and PICPA.
